These are a few practices I return to when I’m feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, anxious, or simply not like myself. They aren’t meant to fix everything. They’re simply tools that help me reconnect with myself, create a little space, and remember what matters.
Choose two practices and try them at least three times this week. Notice what shifts. How do you feel in your body afterward? Has your energy changed? Your mood? Your perspective?

BluBell First Aid Kit
Choose two practices to try this week.
Notice what shifts. How do you feel in your body afterward? Is your mind quieter? Do you feel more energized, more relaxed, more present, or more connected to yourself?
Practices:
Walk
- Nervous System Regulation
Take a 30 – 60 – minute walk outside. Leave your phone at home, or turn it off.
Write
- Gratitude
Write two pages of gratitude by hand.
Sit Quietly
- Meditate
Sit quietly for 20 minutes. No music, no podcast, no distractions. Just notice your thoughts and your breath.
Nourish
- Mindfulness
Nourish yourself with a healthy meal. No TV, no scrolling, no distractions. Simply focus on eating, chewing, tasting, and being present with your food.
Take A Break
- Nervous System Regulation
Take a break from social media for a day
Sigh
- Nervous System Regulation
Practice 5 physiological sighs: two inhales through the nose, one long exhale through the mouth.
Create
- Mindfulness
Create something: write, paint, cook, dance, or make art.
